FabLab Neckar-Alb e.V.<\/span> is a non-profit organisation which aims to promote the understanding of technology.\u00a0\u00a0Since 2016, project participants have been imparted knowledge of hardware and software in the impart<\/em> project.<\/span><\/span> The impart<\/em> project is funded by the state of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and is aimed in particular at refugees.<\/div>\n

The aim of the project was to evaluate donated hardware in terms of its useful further life and where necessary to repair it, select appropriate software and to then pass it on to refugee organisations. In this way the project contributed to a sustainable use of computing resources and to technical training in the STEM domain. Specialist knowledge was passed on in the context of a series of practically- oriented workshops with the emphasis on its practical application. After six months of participation a certificate was issued which documents the skills acquired. The project was closed in 2020 due to lack of demand<\/span><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
