This workshop is designed to provide an insight into working on a plywood router, it is intended for anyone interested in creating their own woodwork or interested in setting up a CNC router. Previous experience is not required, we will take the time to explain everything 😊.

What we do:

Theory

At the beginning we get an overview of the main components of the CNC14 milling machine and its control system (mechanics, electrics, software), look at different milling cutters and useful improvements and talk about safety and do’s and don’ts 😊.

Practice

We will work on a small joint practical project in the appointment. For this purpose, I will create a small file on the laptop in the appointment, which we will then prepare for milling with the actual milling software (EstlCAM; freeware).

We will set up the machine, clamp our workpiece and start the milling process.

Afterwards we can evaluate the result and discuss further ideas.
