Eine Woche Zeit bleibt noch, um die Netzneutralität in Europa abzusichern. Im Unterschied zu so mancher Online-Petition hat die öffentliche Konsultation jedoch Gewicht (oder sollte zumindest Gewicht haben), die BEREC, der Dachverband der europäischen Telekom-Regulierer, bis zum 18. Juli durchführt.
Knapp 95.000 Kommentare aus der Zivilgesellschaft sind über die Plattform SaveTheInternet.eu bereits abgeschickt worden – es wäre schön, wenn wir die symbolträchtige Marke von 100.000 Einsendungen so bald wie möglich knacken könnten. Denn an der Konsultation nimmt nicht nur die Zivilgesellschaft teil, sondern auch die Lobby der Telekommunikationsanbieter. Dieser stehen natürlich nicht nur die offiziellen Kanäle offen, sondern auch diverse inoffizielle, die bis hin zu Erpressungsversuchen reichen.

Another nice reboot-day
Last sunday was a very successfull reboot-day: We snd our kind and helpful guest were able to fix 12 laptops. The first ones are already on their way to some refugees here in Tuebingen.
We also decided to throw away five more laptops. That sounds much, but we invested a lot of time to see that they are still broken. Is it worth to spend time (and probably money) for an afterwards very slow computer?
Our next reboot-day will hopefully be more structured and organized: We are planning to have someone handing over a laptop and its pupose and taking it back afterwards. The performed steps and and the new diagnosis will then be noted immediately. We hope that this change will make the reboot-days more nicer for our guests.

Performance is presented as a process of fabrication. Reciprocally, fabrication is presented as a process of performance. A circularity of human body-gesture and computer machine-gesture leads to the construction of notational spatial artefacts. Space is constructed through the transforming conditions of dance, and performance is constructed through the transforming conditions of architecture. The project is a spatially interactive design system. Driven by the motivation of a participating performer/designer, body movement is tracked, analysed and translated into tool paths for fabrication by a robotic armature and an industrial CNC pipe bending machine.
