You are interested in compositing and editing images? Maybe you tried Photoshop, but it’s way too expensive for a hobby?

Whatever your previous knowledge or motivation, in this workshop, you will get to know the basics of image editing and compositing with the powerful free and open-source tool GIMP. Creating your own chimera, you will learn things like working with layers, selection- and transformation-tools. In the end, we will turn the image into a movie poster and also visit fonts and filters.

Please install GIMP yourself before the workshop – if you need help, you can reach me under mr.florian.kellner@nullposteo.de, and I will also be at the location at 18h (half an hour early).  We will probably have space for 15 people – signing up would help us with planning, but you can also drop in spontaneously.
